Dear Friends,

August started off with a bang! We had a great Sunday July 31st with 325 saved and 205 baptized. Elmer Fernandez preached and we ended a five weeks campaign with 1,407 saved at church and 858 baptized in 5 weeks.

During the campaign 228,089 people were preached to and 69,118 were saved. We held Bible clubs all aver the City of Mexico and its suburbs. Dr. Russell Anderson financed the clubs and bought toys and food baskets for poor people who came to the meetings and church.

August 1st we started a Fuegos Pastor´s Conference. 7,000 to 8,000 attended during the week with churches and pastors coming from all over Mexico, Spain, Central and South America. Many of the pastors are graduates of our Bible College. Up to 7,000 came on one night.

We had a simultaneous youth conference with 138 young people surrendering to full time Christian service. Glory to God! We had people saved and baptized at each invitation. None of this could happen if not for you who support and pray for this work. Our support has been very low since we have been on the field without a furlough for 27 years. Yet some have done extra to keep us in Mexico and we are very grateful!

The warehouse next to our church has come up for sale again. If we could buy it we could grow to 15,000. It will take a great miracle but we serve a great God! Please pray!
