June, 2011

Dear Friends,

June was an outstanding month! Ezequiel Salazar preached our graduation the 1st Sunday of June. We graduated 80 students the most ever and ordained 16 young men to the ministry who will be going out immediately to start churches. 302 were saved and 177 baptized that Sunday. So far 6044 have been saved and 3321 baptized in 2011 at the main church and many more in our other churches.

Several Jews have become great soul-winners. They won some Nigerians living in Mexico City who won men from Ghana and Haiti and Colombia. Sunday they brought a Muslim from Africa named Azeem Soyan. During the invitation Sunday Azeem Soyan got up and went to get in the line of people to be baptized. The other Africans said “What are you doing? You’re a Muslim.” He turned to his friends and said “Not anymore. I am a Christian!” Praise God! He got saved during the preaching!

This is one of thousands being saved because you have kept us on the field. Thank you! We love you and are grateful to you. Please pray for our safety. There are kidnappings and killings all around us. Two of my sons Tim and John are working with me now and are out constantly on the streets in danger. Yet we have never seen Mexico more open to the gospel.

In Christ,

Kevin Wynne

P.S. I have three prayer requests.

  1. Our support is way down. Since we have been on the field 27 years without a furlough. If any of you know of anyone who might want to support this work please let us know. If not please pray.
  2. My wife’s washer broke. I know this has happened before but my wife washes for baptisms. Last year we baptized over 5,800 so that’s a lot of washing. I have saved up but I need $250 more to pay for it.
  3. The van my son drives the tires are bald and he is skidding and slipping in the rain. We need $350 more to buy tires. Sometimes people asked if there is a project they can help with so I mention these needs. If not please just pray. Thank you.
